Description: Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (Also known as, Alone in the Dark: 4) is an survival horror video game developed by Darkworks and published by InfoGrames in 2001 for PlayStation 2, Game Boy Color and for Microsoft Windows. Alone in the Dark: 4 is an forth main installment in the series 'Alone in the Dark'. The game was released on all the platforms I mentioned in the rest of the world, wheres the PS2 version of the game was released only in Europe.
The story of the game is loosely based on the movie Alone in the Dark. In the game, Player have the choice to choose from two protagonist, Carnby and Aline. Both the protagonist have there different plots. Carnby's plot is mainly based on fighting the monsters by physical means, particularly with his trusty double barreled revolver, while Aline's is more centered on puzzles etc.
