WWE Smackdown here comes the pain: The WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain is an wrestling genre video game developed by Yuke's with the publisher THQ. WWE HCTP is the first and famously successful installment in the series SmackDown! released on 2003, badly for the platform of 'PlayStation 2' only! WWE HCTP and it's entire series is based on the Americas ' World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)'s weekly TV shows of the same name.  It is the final WWE game to solely use the SmackDown! name and  succeed by WWE SmackDown! Vs. Raw.

 

When it comes to its gameplays, I don't think any of the game of this genre with the era when the game was developed can be better than WWE HCTP. The game has the splendid graphics with massive grappling system of Yuke's. In the new advanced grappling system with the collaboration of fast gameplay and dynamic physics the game becomes legendary. The game feature includes body damage meters and individual character scales to consist the stats such as strength, endurance and speed, and submission meters for both the wrestlers applying the move and the person breaking out of the move. WWE HCTP marks 'Elimination Chamber' and 'Bra and Panties' matches first time in the history of WWE game series. WWE Here Comes the Pain is the first installment having our favorite 'John Cena' in the game.
